SCEWA is a non-profitable civil society organization. It has come into the arena of social services in 1990 with a firm zeal and fervour of helping the community in the fields of: education, anti-narcotics, health, HIV/AIDS and other developmental & relief matters. SCEWA has achieved a great success since 1990. We are slowly but surely moving towards the service delivery, awareness and capacity building of the community, which is the prime motto of our mission. Tremendous and unflinching efforts have been put on to pursue our mission through fulfilling its mandate and objectives. Main objective of SCEWA is to create and promote awareness among people about various social, cultural, educational, and hygienic & environmental problems.
Projects of SCEW: Service Delivery Programs, Non Formal School Projects, Literacy Projects Free, Medical Camp Project, Students Support Program, Free Dispensary Project, Blood Bank Project, Vocational Training (Mobile Repairing, Tailoring, Computer Literacy, Medical Representative Course, English Language, Nursing etc.).
Awareness & Advocacy Programs: Awareness Programs on Human Rights, Political Advocacy, HIV/AIDS, STDs, Hepatitis, and other core issues of our society.
Future Plans of SCEWA: Girls' College, Women Hostel, Resource Centers for Legal Aid, Anti Narcotics Rehabilitation Center, Welfare Public Library, Industrial Homes for Disable & Widows & Disadvantaged Poor Women, Capacity Building of CBOs, CCBs and NGOs in every district of NWFP; NWFP Social & Democratic Forum for Community Mobilization; Resource Centers for Legal & Political and Health assistance.
Seminars & Workshops: SCEWA arranges seminars on different alarming issues and has held workshops & Trainings several times to aware and to educate the masses: Gender & HIV/AIDS, Marketing & ways of selling various Products and Procedure of Interview, Two Days workshops on Book Keeping & Financial Accounts of NGOs, Political Awareness Workshop is held for a daylong to create awareness among the women regarding their political rights and duties, One day orientation seminar on Hepatitis Awareness, is arranged at Unique Academy, A week workshop on Teaching with Audio/Visual Aid for school teachers.
Mr. Umar Gul is the President & Project Director. Ms Amna Khan is the Field Officer.
For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Further we can offer expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, deliver a lecture and establish new contacts in the field of our work. Other supporting possibilities: capacity building of poor NGOs.
