Über uns

The Romanian RWCT Association, founded in 2002, aims to contribute to the development of a democratic society, by promoting critical thinking in all forms of education, and supporting the pre-service and in-service training of various socio-professional categories.

The objectives are:

- to organize, carry out, monitor, and evaluate activities of in-service training for teachers,
- to collaborate with institutions and organizations involved in pre-service and in-service training.

The aim of the Romanian RWCT Association is to promote and sustain activities of initial and continious training, on each teaching level, including the level of permanent learning, in order to rise the quality of instruction and education, and encouraging critical thinking.

Maria Kovacs is mainly interested in ways of assisting the development of disadvantaged communities especially in rural areas. She is studying the connection between the level of community development in villages and the school success of the children in these communities.

Maria Kovacs is the Vice-president of RWCT Romania.
