Über uns

Founded in 2004 by Keystone Human Services International, Keystone Moldova aims for the social inclusion of individuals living in difficult social situations, including people with disabilities.
Keystone Moldova is a non-profit, nongovernmental organisation working to create opportunities where people can grow, exercise self-determination, and be participating, contributing and valued members of their society.

The mission of Keystone Moldova is to promote and develop opportunities that will be in the form of consultant services, technical assistance, direct support service, best-practice training, monetary and administrative supports for ensuring the quality of life of individuals living in difficult social situations, including persons with disabilities, children with special education needs, abused children and women, families living in poverty, discriminated groups of population throughout Moldova.

What we do
Taking a rights-based approach, Keystone Moldova promotes inclusion, builds sustainable community-based support systems, and advocates alongside people with disability.
We support:
• the deinstitutionalization and inclusion in mainstream community-based services of people with disability, children with special educational needs, and those at risk;
• the development of community-based alternative social care services, such as Family support services, Foster care, Mobile team, Shared living, Respite, Supported living, Community homes, etc.,
• the development of legal framework to ensure the sustainability of reforms in social protection and social assistance of people with disability;
• activities to prevent and end discrimination.

Prof. Dr. hab. Ludmila Malcoci is the Executive Director of Keystone Moldova.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
