Über uns

SPERIN, founded in 1990, corroborated the efforts of a number of research groups in the fields of: river, solar, wind, wave, biomass energies and magnetohydrodynamics to answer the problems outlined by the world energy crisis, in the modern context of environment protection and regarding the sustainable development of the human society. Its mission is the renewable and new energies promotion, through research works and practical applications, the dissemination of the information's about the possibility for renewable and new energies utilization, for the civil society, in Romanian economy. The latest projects were:

- 1999: Hydro-mechanical solutions, for an asynchrony electrical motor, and efficiency curve recovering.
- 2000: Thermal pollution analyze of the rivers due of the thermal power plants.
- 2001: River beacons, with energetic independence and lighting signal, to be use for Danube navigation. Step I Axial hydraulic turbine, development.
- 2001: River beacons, with energetic independence and lighting signal, to be use for Danube navigation. Step 3 Hydraulic turbine, model testing.
- River balize, with energetically independence, with lighting signal, to be use for Danube navigation. Step 6 Hydraulic turbine, prototype testing.
- Wind power plant with 600 kW, nominal power, for agriculture irrigation's and other land utility, operating in connection with regional electrical grid.
- Wind power plant with 25 - 35 kW, nominal power, for agriculture irrigation's and other land utility, operating in connection with regional electrical grid or in remote emplacement.

Mr. Petre Terzi is the President of SPERIN.
