Ta´awon for Conflict Resolution is an independent, national, Palestinian, non-profit organization that was founded in 2002. It works with young Palestinian men and women to prevent the causes of conflict by promoting civic peace, social justice, human rights and tolerance while working to alleviate the consequences of conflict through conflict resolution, community participation and development.

The Mission is to contribute in building the Palestinian civic and democratic society and to expand the knowledge of conflict resolution, culture of peace, democracy within the Palestinian Youth.

Activities:
• Training services for youth.
• Youth workshops.
• Humanitarian aid.
• Youth projects (Public achievement, Youth and unemployement, Youth peace coalition, Youth in civic and democratic education project, peacefull shools project ).

Taawon´s main activities aim to raise the awareness of young people on effective and peaceful ways to deal with conflict and to develop understanding, respect, and the ability to cooperate with others in a multicultural world.

Taawon targets youth in Palestine covering the West Bank and Gaza. Taawon imparts ethical, moral, and philosophical insights into the process of creating peaceful social change. It also focuses its work on integrating concepts of mediation, conflict resolution and peace education in all aspects of youth lives. Through its work Taawon achieved a remarkable relationship with the universities and different youth and civil society organizations in Palestine

Shadi Zein Eldein is a member of the Executive Staff.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
