Über uns

The Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. (CJFI) strongly advocates the protection of children not only because of existing laws but also because it is every child’s right to be protected and cared for. It is the society’s innate responsibility to give every child the opportunity to lead a good life as a responsible, accountable, and productive individual in the community. CJFI dedicated its efforts to help the disadvantaged, neglected and poor children in the Philippines. Since its registration as a non-stock, nonprofit organization on June 15, 1998, CJFI has been providing care and support to children and youth needing rehabilitative and developmental services.

Vision
The vision of CJFI is to achieve excellence in its operations in greater heights empowering children and communities in God’s way to live a life of responsibility and accountability in a gender-fair caring society and to become a strong pillar in nation-building.

Mission
The mission of CJFI is to reach out to the greater masses of disadvantaged children in the country by providing them with Residential-Based Support Programs and Community-Based Support Programs to achieve their dreams, and become responsible and accountable individuals with a gender perspective in their community and in nation-building.

Our Goals
The goal of CJFI is to provide children in the Philippines with various residential services, medical, psychosocial, educational support and emergency assistance to harness their potential in community and nation building.

Our Objectives
• Shelter: To provide temporary shelter to disadvantaged children who need protection and care in the country.
• Intervention Programs and Services: To provide various intervention programs and services to children that will restore their social functioning as a person.
• Reintegration with Family and Community: To facilitate the process of reintegration in their family and community in coordination and networking with LGUs, NGOs and partner agencies for the promotion of children’s rights likewise with their families.
• Preparation for Independent Living: To provide opportunities that will promote their total development as children by enhancing their skills and capabilities in preparation for independent living in the future.
• Economic Self-Sufficiency: To prepare them as young adults for employment and economic self-sufficiency.
• Community Outreach: To extend services to surrounding and neighboring communities where CJFI operates based on their needs and available resources of the Foundation.

Programs and Services:
• Residential Based Support Program (RBSP): Social Services; Home Life Services; Educational Services; Psychological Services; Medical and Dental Services; Sports/Recreation Services; Spiritual/Religious Services; Practical Skills Development Services; After Care Services
• Community Based Support Program (CBSP): Provision of Day Care Center Facilities; Periodic Provision of School Supplies; Supplemental Feeding; Computer Literacy Support Service; Medical Mission and Disaster Relief Assistance
• Independent Living Program (ILP): A program that is intended to benefit children under CJFI’s care as a continuing intervention to its Residential Based Support Program (RBSP). While RBSP provides rehabilitative services to abandoned, orphaned, neglected and dependent children with the end view of reintegrating them with their families and communities as a socially functioning individual, ILP focuses on preparing the beneficiaries for life in the real world.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
