The FAAVM Canada is a non for profit, charitable organization empowering Canadian minorities by enforcing social justice, securing and safeguarding fundamental freedoms, strengthening national and international solidarity, promoting global security and peace. FAAVM's major focus involves using various multifunctional civil rights programmes to help the mostly disadvantaged, underprivileged Canadian minorities as men, women and children. Its all-volunteer network nationwide program is comprised of several components; all having to do with providing meaningful and positive educational, socio-cultural, spiritual, economic and overall human development activities for our mostly economically disadvantaged nationwide and worldwide.
A major objective is FAAVM's use of national and international legally binding humanitarian instruments, norms, precepts and principles in order to intervene at the national level to outreach visible minorities who are often very difficult to otherwise reach. FAAVM promotes early education, child welfare, gender equality, social justice, global peace and security, socio economic development; and promotes the overall growth and advancement process. Some of its objectives are:

- Development goals: Reduce poverty within visible minority communities across Canada; achieve national primary education by ensuring that boys and girls alike complete primary schooling; promote gender equality and empower women - eliminate gender disparity at all levels of education; combat HIV/AIDS, drug abuse, street violence and other diseases; develop a global partnership for development - expand national and international trade market access; achieving the FAAVM SEDC .5 billion trust fund for 2020.
