Über uns

Pakistan YES Network is an initiative by young people, to address the greatest challenge of youth unemployment. This initiative has been taken out of the need for an integrated and well coordinated effort, to address the pitiable and deplorable state of youth. There are many young people in Pakistan, who have no opportunity to realize their gifts and talents. Disappointments, deprivations, sufferings and despair among youth of Pakistan leave them with no choice.

Pakistan YES Networks' vision statement is to enable youth especially those, who are in crisis to successfully participate in the current and future employment environments. Its goals are:

- youth participatory development,
- research and training; credit referral services,
- health; education and skill development,
- gender equity and child rights,
- environment sustainability; information communication technologies.

Mr. Ali Raza Khan is the country coordinator of YES (Youth Employment Summit) and coordinates youth program of the Family Planning Association of Pakistan. He is implementing his projects in underprivileged rural areas all over the country. His vision is "Youth as the solution, not as the problem."
