About us

The Friends of Youth Press and Development Organization (FYPDO Inc) is a non profit making organization. The FYPDO Inc is legally incorporated in the state of New York and offices in Arizona State in USA. The vision of the FYPDO Inc is to light the way to a better life for Zambia’s youth through training and knowledge in Africa. Through YPDO-Zambia we are helping Zambian communities develop and empowering youth in the region to break the cycle of poverty by leveraging information and communication technologies.

The primary mission of Friends of YPDO Inc is to provide material support to the Youth Press and Development Organization. By collecting and delivering information and communication technology equipment, such as computers, printers, scanners, and phones, the Friends of YPDO help provide training materials for Chililabombwe’s youth. Additionally, Friends of YPDO supports YPDO by collecting library materials, such as books and office production software. These materials serve as a source of information for Chililabombwe’s youth and a means to learn additional skills. Marshalling financial resources and donations is another area in which Friends of YPDO is able to help the youth of Zambia. Funds collected in the United States and throughout the world provide the material support necessary to operate YPDO’s effective projects. Finally, by highlighting the important work of YPDO, Friends of YPDO brings awareness, new volunteers, and resources to the fight against poverty, unemployment, and disease in Zambia.

For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. Also we can offer expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, deliver a lecture, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
