The AGDF is an umbrella organisation of 34 German organisations and initiatives for peace, within the domain of the Evangelical Church, the ecumenical movement and those working for human rights.
It considers itself to be an association encompassing work for peace and peace politics within the Evangelical Church and is working toward the continuous qualification and updating of Christian action for peace.
It groups together the common interests of its members and represents them in dealings with third parties. It increases awareness of work for peace in the church, in politics and in the community.
The AGDF boosts links between its members among one another. Through its central structures, it is able to offer services to its members.
The AGDF observes, analyses and comments on developments in peace work and peace politics, develops concepts for testing new action perspectives and working structures and stimulates its members in their implementation.
Jan Gildemeister is the Director of the AGDF.
On request I/we can offer guidance to other net participants, make a presentation, provide up-to-date expert information and contacts within the field of working for peace and peace politics.
