About us

The Sustainer is a non governmental, apolitical and non profit organization, established in1996. Its mission is to promote sustainable development and participatory management of Natural resources.

Its objectives are:

- to improve the living standards of the urban and rural poor through sustainable income generation activities,
- to improve the health, hygiene and nutritional status of rural communities through education, sensitisation and the provision of low cost essential drugs,
- to promote the sustainable management of natural resources through the participation of local communities,
- to raise awareness of the present high rate of degradation of the environment,
- to promote the rights of women as a driving force in the process of development.

Misodi Nakomo Misodi is the Executive manager of the organization.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, deliver a lecture, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
