Subir Africa Foundation (SAFO-Uganda), a community based nonprofit organization, works to improve the lives of vulnerable and marginalized groups around Masaka City and greater Masaka through participatory and collaborative approaches.
SAFO Uganda has core program areas of health and nutrition support, psychosocial support, environment conservation, education and livelihoods support among the marginalized and vulnerable groups and individuals of children, youth and women in the community of Masaka. Basically, we look forward to improving and strengthening the public health support and wellbeing of the community and its members through livelihood enhancement, sustainable activities, partnerships and collaboration with other organizations with almost similar goals and objectives.

Programs:
• Health: In health we deal with HIV/AIDS and other related issues, SRHR and Management, Mental health, Sanitation and hygiene of individuals and community and any other issue related to public Health in community and school environment.
• Education: We are supporting children and youth to retain in schools through information giving, promoting positive discipline in schools/protection, helping them making sanitary pads and stopping stigma working upon the issues that lead to school dropouts. We also support those youth that are out of school with hands on skilling which help then to earn in.
• Economic Development: We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our Economic Development initiative helps Subir Africa Foundation (SAFO-Uganda) ensure that those we serve are better prepared to persevere in the unique situations they find themselves in. Through skills Development, sustainable agriculture, financial literacy and other environment friendly activities.
• Food Security and Nutrition support: We emphasize food and nutrition by supporting families with agricultural inputs and sustainable gardening to promote food presence and increased nutrition among the vulnerable families and malnourished children to build sustainable and resilient communities. We make sure that we don't harm the environment.

Activities:
• We also have a plan to construct a vocational skilling training center.
• We support families with food security through training them in ecological smart farming and permaculture, education support, economic strengthening and support them to access health services.
• We also host interns and volunteers both in person and virtual interns and volunteers.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
