• Suryamukhi Handicrafts: Suryamukhi is a social project that began in February 1999 in order to provide economic support for CHILDREN-Nepal (CN) as well as giving low-income women the opportunity to acquire a basic income with which they can improve their living conditions as well as their families. Women aged 16 years and older are provided with vocational training in sewing, knitting and embroidery free of charge at the CN Center.
• Fulbari Resource Centre: CN has acquired a plot of land in a beautiful village setting 20 km North-West from Pokhara to build the Fulbari Resource Centre for Conflict Transformation and Peace Education and developed a proposal for financial support. The anticipated centre would allow CN to run as a self-sufficient training facility, to extend its reach further into the three districts of Kaski, Tanahun and Parbat.
