Sobre nosotros

Digital Broadcast Initiative Equal Access (DBI EA) is a member-based, non-profit, & non-governmental media organization established in 2004 by a group of experienced media experts and storytellers.
Its main goal is to create positive change by disseminating crucial information using Communication for Development (C4D) approaches.

It envisions creating innovative media engagements that aspire social changes. Since its establishment, DBIEA has been using innovative media platforms, effective storytelling, state-of-the-art information and communication technology (ICT), effective partnerships, and local community-based engagements to achieve the vision.

Our mission
• To support generating positive changes via Communication for Development (C4D) approach
• To inspire a new generation of storytellers in discovering, interpreting, and disseminating human interest issues
• To decentralize people’s access to authentic & important information by curbing mis/dis/ill-information

What we do
• Community Engagement: One of the main strengths of DBI EA is engaging communities through media content production and strategically designed events. The end goal? SBCC (Social Behavior Change Communication).
• Media Advocacy & Research: DBI EA has always been one of the pioneers to advocate for media freedom and digital literacy for development, we continue our works to curb mis/dis/ill-information and support initiatives for a free, fair, and innovative media space.
• Storytelling: We believe in a person or persons inside every story we tell, whether it is visual or audio, or even graphics, human-centered storytelling remains at the core of our projects.
• Civic Participation: DBI EA strongly believes a strong and independent civil society is one of the major pillars of a vibrant democracy. Our works continue to back the increasing civic participation in our democracy, especially of youth, marginalized communities, and voiceless people.
• Content Marketing & Digital Capacity Building: We support organizations that require these modern tools like content marketing through our digital capacity-building approaches.
Our works include virtual campaigning to in-person training, public hearings to studio debates, media content productions to capacity building of media organizations, and storytelling to mass media campaigns based on facts, data, and verified information.
