Qui sommes-nous

The Environment and Coffee Forest Forum (ECFF) was established in 2005 with the aim of strengthening and promoting networking amongst different institutions and organisations involved in the conservation and use of forest resources in Ethiopia.
ECFF is an Ethiopian charity that aims to contribute towards sustainable use of coffee, forest biodiversity and the environment through research, education, information dissemination and practical implementation of scientifically proven concepts.

Activities:
ECFF provides services including:
• conservation planning,
• environmental education
• capacity building,
• climate change mitigation.

The Environment and Coffee Forest Forum (ECFF) in Addis Ababa is one of the key players in Ethiopia, coordinating this and other activities connected with the protection of the last remaining coffee forests in Ethiopia. ECFF also intends to better understand and take into consideration the interests of the local population which lives off the coffee forests.
ECFF was a key actor in the process of suggesting the area being recognized as UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in June 2010.

Tadesse W. Gole is the Director of the Environment and Coffee Forest Forum (ECFF).
