Qui sommes-nous

Arena Latina - Latin American Cultural Project - was founded as a group in 2005 and was entered into the association register of the District Court of Friedberg / Hessen, Germany in August 2008.
Arena Latina is a meeting place for Latin Americans, Germans and other nationalities who come together and plan cultural projects - typically Latin American - imusic, dance, talks, etc.

The association
• promotes cultural exchange between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Latin American countries, as well as Spain and Portugal.
• promotes the integration of Latin Americans into German society;
• promotes activities that serve the intercultural education of children and young people, as well as supporting the development of their multilingualism.
Another goal is the dissemination of regional information about Latin America and finally the support of concrete humanitarian projects in Latin America.

Activities:
• Dance group: The dance group meets regularly in Friedberg, Hessen to practice Latin American dances.
• Spanish Round Table: The Spanish Round Table brings together people interested in conversing in Spanish, practising their Spanish, learning about and discussing Latin American topics. The group also shares experiences in Latin America.
• Spanish Reading Group: Anyone who enjoys reading books in Spanish and would like to discuss and exchange ideas with other readers is welcome to join our Spanish Reading Group.

On request, we can provide advice to other network participants, give a presentation, and provide up-to-date specialist information and contacts in the field of our work.
