About us

Rising Hope Foundation for Change (RHFC) started in 2013 and was officially recognized by the government of Cameroon on the 13 February 2015 and under the German law by the Court of Bonn on the 08.12.2021. RHFC was founded by Mbenja Clovert Anamani, who grew up in abject poverty and deprivation. He sees education as a weapon to fight poverty, “for if you train a child, you grow a nation.” And started simply by paying school fees for three underprivileged pupils in Cameroon.

Our Vision
Putting hope, smiles and happiness to the least privileged youths (orphans, physically challenged individuals, vulnerable women and the girl child) by providing best and fully sustainable projects to impact their lives and communities in Cameroon and Africa in general.

Our mission
Our mission is to expose underprivileged youths to quality education, engaging in sports, socio-cultural and environmental upliftment opportunities to improve the Welfare and Wellbeing of the least privileged children in Cameroon and Africa in general so they can apply their experiences for the betterment of their families, communities, nation and the world at large.

Objectives
• Educating the less privileged by extending scholarship programs to help those who have no hope of attaining
• Talent hunt through music, creative art, beauty and sport (especially football) competitions
• Organize seminars and conference on social ills
• Career objectives programs with role models and celebrities as guest speakers
• Environmental friendly activities such as the planting of trees (1million) and food gardens.
• To contribute to greening, climate change action, sustainable natural resource management, food security and organic farming
• Create awareness of the benefits of environmental improvement activities amongst all communities of
• Contribute to local economic enterprise, sustainable development, enhanced environments, capacity building and skills
• Visits to orphanages, prisons and donations of books to libraries in Cameroon especially
• Ignite the passion for academic excellence amongst least privileged students.

• RHFC will create a Vocational Training Centre for the least privileged
• RHFC will create a Providence House
• RHFC will create a farm for agricultural sustainability

Projects:
• Education: Education is the bottom line to any society. Besides civic and moral education, skills development (Sewing Program) is also an important aspect that helps achieve financial independence.
• Women and girl´s economic empowerment: By empowering women and girls through education, skills training, improved healthcare, or providing a loan to start up a small business (entrepreneurship) is the main goal of RHFC. Menstrual Hygiene Management Program; Sewing program; Hair dressing department
• Environment protection: Green Tips; Trees for triple effect project; Beat plastic pollution
• Basic health care
• Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurship is a key element to financial independence. At RHFC we understand this all too well as we strive to achieve independence from donors by developing commercial activities that could allow us to not rely on the donations in the future. Therefore, we constantly discuss and study projects that could turn into profitable and financially sustainable businesses. We instill the same concept to the participants in our various programs that can turn them into business owners
• Disability support: RHFC has the ambition of creating programs that will help individuals with disabilities to receive some form of training in order to sustain themselves through employment or self-employment.
