About us

Vision

Mission statement
An effective and efficient democratic national organization which strives to promote the development of sports for the Deaf in Namibia to the highest level of excellence while fostering unity and discouraging discrimination based on race, gender or religion.

Objectives:
• The maintenance and extension of a system of clubs and regional associations throughout Namibia, open to membership by all members of the deft population who wish to participate in deaf sport and allowing access to registration, participation, coaching and other services of NDSF.
• The promotion of international and inter-regional competitions and participation on all levels to provide incentives to motivate deaf sportsmen and women to achieve their full potential.
• The continued maintenance of unity in Namibian Deaf Sports at all levels.

What we do
The Namibian Deaf Sport Federation proudly announces the great sporting day organised primarily to raise awareness about Week of the Deaf. As we are aware, sport develops a sense of mental and physical toughness. What better way is there to end the festivities with some team building exercises and adrenalin. NDSF also support in having a healthy body and mind. Even in sport, the Deaf can master the art and become best players with skills worthwhile.

Mr. Abner Tegelela Sheya is the President of Namibian Deaf Sports Federation (NDSF) second term.
