Emmanuel World Children Foundation (EWCF) a faith based, Non denominational, Non profit, Non-Governmental organization dedicated to the welfare and development of children and youth especially the less privileged ones. Established in 1997, EWCF provides holistic support and intervention to children in need and their care givers in Nigeria. EWCF is operating The Ark children home for a day to 15years old children. The head office is located in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.

Our vision
To see the less privileged children and youth rehabilitated, empowered and integrated into the main stream of the society, having been developed and equipped, socially, mentally, physically and spiritually.


Our mission
To initiate and implement a love centred rehabilitation programme for the less privileged children and youth (especially the orphans and street kids) which will make them self-reliant, improve their life, help them make good and informed decision for their lives.

Our work
• Rescue and Rehabilitation: EWCF work on the street and in difficult places to rescue abandoned children, street kids and run away kids. Emmanuel Shelter provides accommodation, counselling, rehabilitation and reintegration back to their families or relatives.
• Orphans and Vulnerable children development: EWCF identified these AIDS orphans, mobilises support for them and provide the 6+1 support, which are nutrition, shelter, health care, education, legal protection, economic strengthening psychosocial support.
• Capacity building: EWCF develops series of training programmes for different target audience mostly stakeholders in children issues.
• Child’s rights promotion and protection: EWCF works in the fore front promoting the rights of children by educating, sensitizing and encouraging the public on the provisions of Childs rights act, while protecting the rights of the children by enforcing it using alternative dispute resolution and legal means when needed.
• Media outreach and Material production: EWCF uses the media to ensure the children get the best, such is a Television programmes titled “Child’s rights today”. Different education and information materials are produced and distributed regularly.
• Rural community mobilization: EWCF involves in mobilising rural community for self help while mobilising development for the community especially structures that will keep promote children development.
• Children Fun and Participation programme: EWCF provides opportunities for children to explore their environment and develop their skills. Such programme include Retreat, camping, Competitions and Games. Children groups such as Emmanuel kids and Emmanuel Children cultural troupe gives the children opportunity to develop their talents and also air their voices to issue concerning them.
• HIV and Reproductive health: EWCF carries out different activities on reproductive health, HIV and AIDS with children as the main target group.


Adaramola Emmanuel is the Founder and Executive Director of Adaramola Emmanuel.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
