Sobre nosotros

The association MINA-Life in Diversity was founded in 2010 by individuals with migration experience themselves and by their relatives..
The purpose of the association is to promote help for people with disabilities and those with flight and/or migration experience in accordance with Section 52 Paragraph 2 No. 10 AO.

This support includes:
• Advice for people with disabilities and their families on all areas of participation in society
• Accompanying people to appointments
• Offers for self-help, in particular for and with families with refugee and/or migration experience
• Leisure and creative activities for people with disabilities and their families

Projects (selection)
• Diversity inclusive: This project is based on the experience of the association and brings knowledge of where flight, migration and disability meet, nationwide. Since 2019 there have been several workshops throughout Germany and support during trials lasting several months. The project also raises public awareness nationwide on related topics. • EUTB - Supplementary independent participation advice: The EUTB offers advice and assistance with application for benefits and provides advice on all questions relating to the topic of participation in society, such as in working life and rehabilitation. The EUTB advisors advise individually and on an equal footing.
Consultations are offered in German, Arabic, Turkish and other languages.
• Strong in Life: The aim of this project is to help people with refugee experience and disabilities as well as to strengthen fathers of a child with a disability and give them access to services and to
create offers of support.
