The Meluf community constitute the core strength of IRCCA Foundation. It is a highly organised and hospitable community. The people are hardworking and welcoming to people who are out to make life better for them. Here, the community is stratified into over five different committees each of which is charged with developmental activities within the community. Meet the people any time you can...
The community leadership comes together to plan on key projects for the community. The community fights alone to raise funds for projects which can improve their lives. Efforts have been to engage donors elsewhere to listen to the cries of the people here and assist them realise the numerous projects they have at hand; so far no one has come up with something good for the people. Please, be the first to impact on the lives of these people...put smiles on their faces..
These women make up more than 80% of the agricultural work force in this community. They spend all their lives on the farm but are unable to produce enough for their families. This is because they do not have access to equipment and inputs to improve farm yield. Why not side with them and help them boost production by giving them necessary tools for improved agricultural production. Empower them!
Women trying to turn a page on their lives. Empowerment programs here in the community have shaped the lives of these women for good. Many of them can now boast of financial independence hence improved quality of lives. The effort is on going and we hope to perfect it within the shortest time possible....
One of the many teens in the community staging a come back to their academic careers. Many have dropped out either because of early pregnancies or because of financial difficulties. There are still many out there who need to join this group determined youths and be integrated into the community. Help them achieve their ambitions...
