IRCCA Foundation in the Frontlines of the war in Cameroon
For nearly three years now, the English speaking part of cameroon has been involved in a brutal war that has claimed the lives of thousands of people. Whole villages have been razed by the military, the older people burnt in their sleep and women and children brutally murdered. Young boys in many cases have been murdered and burned while hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced.
Our priority has been to get closer to the people affected and offer some help. It has not been easy since some of us have lost property in and relatives in the war. The environment is also hostile to work yet we have to brave the odds to get close to the people most in need of help.
IRCCA Foundation has been fighting and will keep fighting as long as the war continues to tear people apart. we hope to someday get prominent voices to mediate on our behalf
