Sobre nosotros

The Socio-Cultural Initiative is a non profit organisation, run by volunteers, which, according to its constitution, has the aim of
• organising and promoting cultural life, in particular the fine arts, music and drama.
• encouraging cooperation between all kinds of German and foreign artists

Activities:
• An important part of our work consists of organising and arranging concerts and performances for bands, theatre groups, artistes or writers.
• Additionally we offer to anyone interested a basis for the realisation of their own ideas and projects in various cultural categories.
• We arrange opportunities for individual small scale performances at home and abroad.

We are proud of being able to build bridges between various cultures and countries.
Our work, based on a collaboration with other social and cultural establishments together with the wide-ranging provisions of our organisation, makes a contribution toward the building up of a social and cultural network.

Our initiative supports the principle of equal opportunities. It never in any way discriminates against anyone because of their nationality, race, skin colour, religion, gender or age.

Projects:
The Socio-Cultural Initiative aims to bring together members of the Islamic and Christian religions for free discussions. Explanations and open discussions on the topic of Islam have the objective of a better knowledge and understanding between the religions and mutual respect.
Talks and question sessions on the topic of Islamic religion are planned, with a mixed audience.

A further concern of the projects is to rouse the interest of young people and to give them food for thought. Thus the discussion evenings serve not only to inform, but also to inspire people to ask questions.

Ramiz Hazir is the president of Socio-Cultural Initiative. .

On request we can offer other net participants advice, give a presentation, and provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work.
