Sobre nosotros

The NGO Education Service International (ESI) is a Beninese non-profit organization created on September 21, 2010 by executives, friends and former beneficiaries of the NGO pro dogbo. It represents the same philosophies as “pro dogbo” and is its operational arm in Benin through a process of skills transfer.

Vision:
To create a suitable framework for the social and professional well-being of Orphans and Vulnerable Children, young people in general and people in difficult situations in Benin, West Africa.

Mission:
To provide advice, expertise and financial assistance to children, young people and poor families in the field of education and training.

Objective:
To contribute to the improvement of the socio-economic situation of the underprivileged layers of cities and countryside with a view to the eradication of poverty in Benin, in West Africa.

Target groups:
Orphans and Vulnerable Children, young people in general and all other people in difficult situations are the priority targets of the actions of the NGO ESI. They are schoolchildren, pupils, students, young people who have dropped out of school, artisans, families in difficult circumstances.

Motto: Educate - Train - Support.

Our work
• The main activities of the NGO ESI are: total / partial support for young people; School aid (supplies and schooling) to pupils; sensitization in schools and colleges on STDs, excellence in schools; the construction / donation of classroom modules with Office, Store and equipment for the benefit of deprived schools; capacity building of teachers; free vocational training for young people who have dropped out of school.
• The NGO has a vocational training center equipped for theoretical and practical courses in Metal Construction (Welding), Mechanical Manufacturing (Turning), Automotive Mechanics, Agricultural Mechanization, Bakery - Pastry, IT initiation, Photovoltaic Solar Renewable Energies.
• In addition to all this, there is capacity building in entrepreneurship and support for the professional integration of young people.
• The NGO also intervenes in the protection of the environment through support for the development and management of Indigenous and Community Heritage Areas and Territories (APAC).
• ESI initiated the development of cultural and religious activities by organizing the annual reunion concert "EGODODO" every January 02 in Dogbo.

Jules Codjo Tohountode is the President and Martin Dhossou is the Assistant of the Executive Director of Education Service International (ESI).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff and establish new contacts in the field of education, vocational training and environment.
On request, we can make consultations, organize tourist circuits through Benin, Host partners in our guesthouse, welcome volunteers in our organization, support the implementation of development projects in Benin.
