About us

Orphan Life Foundation is a USA-based non-profit charity organization operating in the USA, and Africa (Burkina-Faso). Orphan Life Foundation is an international non-profit organization geared towards achieving one ultimate goal: Improving the lives of orphaned children. By providing education opportunities, health and wellness support, foster home and shelter services, and facilitating adoption processes for homeless and parentless children, Orphan Life Foundation focuses on making the lives of orphans and abandoned children better in all aspects.

In this vein, we’ve established numerous orphanages, baby adoption centers and schools with adequate child learning resources across the underprivileged areas of India, Africa, Pakistan and Philippines.

Our mission: To act as an advocate of orphaned children and provide them with holistic care, education opportunities, health and wellness support, foster home and shelter services, and facilitate the adoption process for orphaned and vulnerable children.

Our main aim: To address and solve all current and potential issues faced by orphan children. Partnering with organizations and public support groups, we organize multiple programs with constant strife to promote the welfare of orphans.

Impact:
• Provided better educational opportunities to orphans, we empowered them to complete their basic as well as advanced schooling.
• Focused on granting easy access to health and nutritional services to orphans.
• Work to minimize the risk of contracting the HIV/AIDS virus in orphan children.
• Provided optimal protection of their legal and human rights, and meeting their emotional needs.
• Offered adoption opportunities, facilitated the adoption process, conducted psychosocial evaluations, and used interventions to monitor children in fostering environments.

Over the years, our projects have helped hundreds and thousands of orphans in need along with promoting the rebuilding and remodeling of the entire community.

Our projects:
• Clean Water for Children (CWC): Clean Water for Children is an initiative that aims to provide clean water to various deserted regions of Africa. We’ve collaborated with international clean water campaigns like “Eau Vive Internationale” to turn this mission into a reality.
• Desk for Children Program (DCP): Desk for Children is a collaborative effort between Orphan Life Foundation and other NGOs. We aim to collect sufficient funds via fundraisers, online charity campaigns and sheer goodwill. The money will then be used in school maintenance funds. The primary focus will obviously be on the desks which ultimately pave a clear route for our child literacy programs. One desk+ One student = Better education
• Roof for Rookies Project (2RP): Many children are interested in seeking an education but the facilities and standard infrastructure to help fulfill these dreams, are non-existent. The primary goal is to pull down the barriers that prevent children from getting an education. The two parts of the project are: (1) Building new classrooms, (2) Renovate and revamp existing classrooms to accommodate the needs of each institution.

Our programs
• HIV & AIDS Program (HAP): The HIV & AIDS Program focuses on formulating a working strategy to minimize the risk of orphans and vulnerable children contracting the disease.
• Pencil for Poor Program (3P2): The Orphan Life Foundation continues to provide basic school supplies to hundreds of students studying in the district of Didyr. We have collaborated with many international organizations that operate under the belief system.
• Pennies for Poor Program (3P1): This is a simple stance for the greater good. We open doors to each and every individual that wants to help our cause. We’ve noticed that even the single cent could make a big difference in the outcomes of a bigger project. So send over all those leftover cash and pennies that are lying around the house. You may not have any use for them. But your extra dimes can be enough to push our projects forward. All the pennies collected from this program are distributed amongst other projects. From building roofs, digging wells, clothing children to sending them to school we won’t let your contributions go to waste!
• Shelter for Shy Program (2SP): Our Shelter for Shy Program is aimed at offering adoption opportunities and facilitating people in the adoption process. Under this program, we also conduct psychosocial evaluations and interventions by placing children in fostering environments and monitoring them. Several social activities are also organized to provide a family-like environment to the orphans.
• Clothes for Orphan Program (COP): With this all-voluntary, non-profit program, we plan to collect usable clothing items and shoes and distribute them among orphan children.
