About us

Srujna Charitable Trust is creating livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women, since 2011. We are a not for profit platform that empowers underprivileged women in India through livelihoods. Srujna was started in 2011, by Jyotika and Vaishali as a project and got registered in 2012 as a Charitable Trust.
Srujna (Sanskrit word meaning to create new energy) aims to create communities of economically empowered women across India through livelihood support.

Our Mission
To provide skills and knowledge to underprivileged women through trainings and workshops, to transform them into independent, confident and contributing members of their families and communities

Our Vision
A world where everywoman has the resources and the abilities to live a meaningful life

Our goal is to provide job worth INR 10 Million to underpriviledged women by 2020.
It achieves its goal by providing training and business support to women.

It has 3 main programs:
• Craft trainings- eg: Fashion jewellery making, Paper products making, terracotta products making, warli painting
• Business trainings- eg: Designing, Product development, Inventory management, Costing.
• 3Market support- eg: exhibitions, orders, job work and shop tie ups

Sneha Kewalram is the Brand Communications & Fundraising Manager of Srujna Charitable Trust.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
