Qui sommes-nous
The national professional association “Press Network for Youth Issues” (PNJ) brings together specialists and other interested parties on the subject of “Youth”. This involves journalists who concern themselves with the topic in the press, radio or television, but there are also media experts from youth organisations and institutions among our members. The PNJ offers extensive research opportunities and valuable contacts on the subjects of youth and media issues.
It is the task of the PNJ to maintain contacts among people working in youth journalism, to support their further training by seminars, study trips and publications, to enable them to exchange information and experiences, to stand up for the observance of the basic right of freedom of opinion, and in all to make a contribution to the advancement of youth journalism and youth education. The work of the PNJ is carried out within the framework of the German Constitution and is non-partisan and non-denominational.
What we offer
• International Exchange Programme. We offer numerous trips every year. We gather comprehensive information about the situation of youths and further current issues in the country concerned. There are regular programmes with Egypt, Israel, Finland, Belarus and Kazakhstan. We have good contact with cultural capitals and with representatives of interesting European youth and travel organisations.
• Professional meetings on youth topics and seminars which serve to raise the profile of youth organisations.
• The members' circular "intern" appears several times a year, and provides information about current developments in the youth media and youth politics. It carries profiles of members and reports on our programmes.
• Our magazine “Connecting Youth Media" appears at irregular intervals, presenting edited versions of youth topics with a media background for a specialist audience.

On request we can offer other net participants advice, and provide up to date information and contacts in the field of our work.
