About us

Umoja Development Agency (UDA) is a not for profit, National Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) formed & registered in 2005 in Gulu in the Republic of Uganda with its headquarters in Gulu district, the northern part of the country. Operating majorly in remote villages of Gulu, Omoro, Nwoya, Amuru & Agago Districts.

UDA is a charity organisation empowering women, children & youth in the fields of health, education & development.

Our work
We work for sustainable development which is community based,
We seek partnership with individuals, institutions (both public and private, including for profit organisations) as well as civil society organisations which are involved in promoting; human rights and good governance, peace building, environment justice, and sustainable eco-social economic development.
We carry out our activities in the fields of social welfare, poverty eradication, HIV / AIDs care & counselling, public health & nutrition, gender eqeulity and women empowerment.

Mr. Okot Stephen is the Program Manager of the Umoja Development Agency (UDA).
Mr. Oyet Andrew Christopher is the Executive Director of the Umoja Development Agency (UDA)

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
