Qui sommes-nous

Hope for Future Generations (HFFG), established in June 2001, is a local, community based, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization to facilitate and improve the health, education and socio-economic status of women, children and young people through empowerment, rights-based approaches, innovative and acceptable participatory strategies.

Vision
A nation free of discrimination where women, children, and young people have equal opportunity to develop their full potential.

Mission
To form partnerships that will facilitate and improve the health, education and socio-economic status of women, children and young people through empowerment, right based approaches, innovative, acceptable, sustainable and participatory strategies.

HFFG works in five (5) major areas of focus:
• Health, Preventable Diseases;
• Sexual Health & Reproductive Health (SHRH) and HIV/AIDS;
• Women’s Economic Empowerment;
• Disability Rights;
• Violence against Women & Girls (VAW&G).

Our Objectives
• Build the capacity of communities towards primary and accessible healthcare.
• Ensure gender mainstreaming and the meaningful participation of women, children and young people at all levels of our work.
• Promote sexual reproductive health and rights and provide accurate and safe routes to preventing diseases.
• Invest in the advocacy, protection, respect and fulfillment of the rights of citizens.
• Commit to developing access to quality education for marginalised communities of women and among girls.
• Advocate and execute the protection and survival of women, young people and children.

Projects and programs
• Get Up Speak Out Project: The GUSO project seeks to ensure that all young people fully enjoy their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in productive equal and healthy society.
• Youth Leaders for Health
• Watershed Project: This project will empower citizens to deliver improvements in the governance and management of Water Access, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) as well as Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) services and •Strengthen the capacity of CSOs to lobby and advocate (L&A) government and other WASH duty-bearers -towards measurable improvements in the quality and sustainability of WASH services.
• Immunization Advocacy Initiative (IA)
• Golden Line Project: The Goal for the Golden Line Programme is to create an enabling or supportive environment to empower women in, and around artisanal, and small scale gold mining communities in Ghana to improve the opportunities to engage in economic activity, decision making, and sexual reproductive health and rights
• USAID – The Care Continuum Project
• CSO Platform SDG Ghana
• Community System Strengthening Project
• Not In Our Name: Tackling Extortion in the Ghanaian Healthcare System
