Chilume Social Service Society is secular and not for profit organization established in the year 2006. A group of 7 young people from various professions with their social concern for people’s development, started to help few students from their own resources at the start of the organization. Later, with the passion for children’s education, empowerment of the disadvantaged women, and providing job opportunities for unemployed rural and urban youth, Mr. Joseph A.T, one of the founding member decided to dedicate the entire time and life the people and organization.

Vision: “A society in which every child lives with basic rights to survival,protection, integrated development, and participation”

Mission: To ensure integrated development of disadvantage children through promotion of education, livelihood, health and awareness.

Chilume Organisation works on:
• Holistic Education,
• Women Empowerment Programme,
• Livelihood Programme,
• Job oriented Skill Training
• Health Sectors.

Programs:
• Chilume has been implementing Holistic Education Program for the rural and urban children aged between 6 to 22 years.
• Provides Job oriented skill training and Job placement services to dropouts / unemployed rural youths.
• Chilume also initiated women empowerment program through animation, promotion and formation of SHG’s.

Joseph Chilume is the President of Chilume Social Service Society.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
