About us

Organization for Environment Protection and Rural Infrastructure Development (OREPRID) is a community-based organisation helping the underserved and underprivileged in rural communities in Cameroon-Kumba. We are a group in aArica and precisely in Cameroon in a village beside the Mbo Barombi lake. This is a group which was form with the ideas of positive thinking indigents of Barombi village and also advise from friend,s most especially the Dayton and Pittsburgh University Students, who often visit our village for projects.and also from friends in kumba and cameroon. We are in a touristic site but face a lot of difficulties like road leading to the village, electricity, good health facilities and just to mention a few. We came in 20011 in to existence to bring all that is needed in our community and those around us

Our mission is to boost capability development in African communities, to create opportunities to improve the lives and boost capabilities of undeserved populations. and above all "help alleviate poverty around the world in partnership with others

To visit the Lake Mbo Barombi Touristic Site and to spend a night at the site which compress of going to the village with a boat through the Lake or through the bush part, swimming at the Lake, going around the forest and any other services that you will be needed comprises of the following;

1. A trip to the village with a boat will cost: 20000frs per person

2. A trip to the village through the bush path will cost : 25000frs per person

3. Payment of a Guard during swimming and going to the village and also serve as a security will cost : 15000frs daily

4. Swimming at the Lake will cost : 10000frs

5. To spend a night at the Site with a Guard: 20000frs per night .
