Qui sommes-nous
my face for peace is an independent peace initiative, launched in October 2012 in Hamburg/Germany for giving face to the wish for global peace by uploading their photo and an personal statement on the website www.myfaceforpeace.org .
my face for peace will launch campaigns in public. We will set up monuments of peace with our faces to make our message visible to central places of our cities. Our next project is the realization of a catalog with the first 10,000 faces, along with messages of peace from around the world. We will hand it over to governments, organizations and people with key features, to claim their commitment to world peace.
Peace will never be achieved by force of arms: Positive change is possible only through unity and solidarity of a great mass of people. For too long we have accepted the spectacle for power and money on the stage of world politics. Now lets show that we notice what happens with open eyes and that we confess together with many our true desire for peace.
Say yes to peace within yourself: Showing face is a first step in a peaceful future. To make this process successful it is inevitable that each of us begins to create peace in the own heart. Lets start to take responsibility for our own thoughts, feelings and actions and we will find more and more peace in the world.
Let us live peace, rather than only dream: An open heart and an open mind are the most powerful means we have in our hands in order to give peace a chance. Lets use it for the benefit of all and create the future of our global community.
Cordula und Saeeid Dastmalchian are the founders of the peace initiative "my face for peace".
For other net participants we can offer overnight facilities. also we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
