About us

Peru Vivential is a non-profit organization based in Peru providing free English education to disadvantaged children and adults in the local community, also We support dogshelter where 40 dogs taken from streets live and need support and with the help of our volunteers We hope to create more projects. We are located in the thriving city of Trujillo, Peru.
We are collaborating with volunteers to improve the quality of life of some of the poorest people through education. Recognizing that many members of our community are born into this type of poverty and have very few job opportunities, we decided to broaden the horizons of our community by founding Peru Vivential.

Mission
Our main goal is to support children from public schools with English Classes. We want to give our children equal opportunities and chances in their life, and better quality of education in languages in public schools in underprivileged towns in our city, in the same way we have the goal to help our friends the dogs, providing them with a new chance to have a better environment where they can live until they are adopted.

Vision
We are a non-profit organization with a vision to improve the quality of education in our community, and to create chances for disadvantage children through supporting free English Classes to children in public schools; also we are happy to contribute to rescue, to help and to improve the life’s quality of life of animals.

Programs:
• Teaching English Program: Peru Vivencial offers English classes completely free of charge to people of all ages in the hopes of creating an equal opportunity for everyone to receive a quality education. We believe that education is one of the best ways to help a person out of poverty, and by providing free English, computer, music, football, art and more classes, this allows the children and adults in Trujillo to acquire an important skill which could lead to better job opportunities. Also with the help of our volunteers we have created the Adults Program where volunteers share the languages they know with students from univesities or people who work and need to improve their English or other language. We provide our volunteers with a rewarding experience learning about Peruvian culture while living with volunteers from around the world. we transcend cultural barriers by promoting an appreciation of other cultures, respect for different norms, long-lasting friendships and appreciation for different ways of living all of which create an improved learning environment.
• Dog Shelter: In Peru, sadly, thousands of pets are abandoned by their owners every year for various reasons. The fact that most of them are cross or mixed breed, and therefore of no commercial value, is the main reason why they’re left alone on the street to either survive or die. The luckier of these animals end up in a refuge or family shelter, where they wait to be adopted. Two small associations in Trujillo were really concerned about the situation and got together to form a cooperative aimed at minimizing this awful situation by opening a small dog refuge centre. They look after abandoned and sick dogs found on the streets, they also have a sterilization campaign in place to decrease the number of homeless pets.
• Spanish Classes: ur volunteers get personal Spanish classes every week. Each class has a duration of one hour and is designed according to each individual level. The lesson is built on a didactic method and the volunteers are provided with materials and worksheets in order to be able to practice in their spare time.
• Free Time: Our Organization offers a rewarding and exciting experience to our volunteers during their staying with us, all of them have different fun activities they can participate in their free time like Spanish classes, salsa, classes, bachata classes, surf lessons, sandboarding activity, campings, trekings, parties and meetings, sport activities, tours and tourist activities that the organization prepares for you.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
