About us

Engineers for Refugees (E4R), founded in 2016, is an organisation from the TU Delft to connect refugees with the university and it's students.

Our work
• E4R is setting up a program to offer young, ambitious refugees a high speed integration course at the TU Delft.
• The integration and language course is organized in collaboration with Vluchtelingenwerk Nederland and NL training.
• The integration course will provide added value through a buddy system connecting refugees with TU Delft students.
• On top of this extra learning activities will be provided to inspire and challenge.

Our program of 12 months revolves around the three pillars of E4R; the language course, the plus-modules and the buddy program. Together these three components form the basis of our accelerated integration program.
Language A0-B2: The intensive 12-month language course takes the participants’ Dutch language CEFR level from A0 to B2, providing them with the language skills to pursue a professional degree or a career in the Netherlands. We are the only language course in the country that offers this level in this short amount of time.

Casper Brunt is the External Relations Officer at Engineers for Refugees (E4R).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
