Team Work Afrika (TWA) is a national, non- governmental, not for profit making organization, dedicated to establishing and maintaining developmental programs, finding and providing opportunities for children who are victims of Human rights abuses, HIV/AIDS, absolute poverty, malaria, man-made and natural catastrophic conditions in Uganda. It was established in 2008 with an aim of promoting children’s rights and mobilizing resources for their well-being.

Our Mission is to promote children’s rights and children’s participation in matters affecting their lives through support of national initiatives related to full implementation of UN convention on the rights of all the children globally.

Our Vision is “Established and maintained developmental programs which enhance children’s development and their well-being in the Uganda.

Our Objectives are;
• To foster the well-being of children in the country.
• To promote and support health programs through awareness and provision of health facilities and services for the well-being of all children.
• To foster equal opportunity and well-being of all the children in the region through the achievement of political, economic, health, culture and education.
• To set up projects intended to enhance the cultural, educational and economic development of all children without any form of discrimination based on region, religion, tribe, gender and sex, etc.
• To initiate and operate credit schemes for provision of small loans / seed money to rural communities to enable them setup income generating projects.
• To carry out intensive advocacy campaigns to enhance the rights and equal opportunity for all especially children in the country.
• To engage in programs aimed at empowering women/youths socially and economically through supporting those to initiate income generating activities for self reliance and enable them improve their house hold income.
• To promote and empower youth through vocational skills.
• To carry out intensive mobilization and educational campaigns on Malaria control, Reproductive health, Family life education, WASH, HIV/AIDS and STI among youths.
• To operate and construct recreation and orphanage centers, vocational training centers, health centers for the promotion of children welfare in the country.
• To provide psychosocial support to traumatized and vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS and insurgency in the region.
• To solicit funds for promoting organization’s activities/objectives as stated above.
• To associate with any organization that subscribes to the above outlined objectives.
