Enzi Njema is a Not-For-Profit, Nongovernmental Organization duly registered in Kenya and compliant with existing legislation and legal requirements.

Mission
To create an enabling environment for young women in the region and beyond to realize growth in hope, economic ability and realize their potential by providing life skills and education.
Our goal
Provide hope and a new start for young women (“Enzi Njema”).

Aims and objectives:
• Provide hope and a new beginning for desperate young women.
• Provide an enabling environment for young women to develop skills that enhance economic empowerment.
• Provide social training and skills development by offering relevant counseling services.
• Provide education opportunities for young girls who have dropped out of school.

Our work
We support small enterprises especially women groups, by offering financial literacy and give support to girlchild, by equipping them with vocational courses, eg tailoring, hair dressing and beauty therapy, bidding etc.

Projects:
• The "Enzi Njema back – to - School project": The organization will facilitate to ensure that young mothers who dropped out of school get an opportunity to attain an education by sending them to school. The Organization shall create a program to provide funding support for these needy cases. This will take several aspects: i. Young women adopted and supported by individual donors; ii. Young women supported by the common support fund. There are many needy cases. To attend to these a committee will be set up to determine the young girls that qualify. Enzi Njema, in liaison with its donor partners and other stakeholders will generate funding for this important program.
• The "Enzi Njema Life Skills Program": This program will provide various business skills to enable young women establish themselves in businesses or jobs. Training will be organized in seminars, workshops and business exposure forums that Enzi Njema is has developed. To enhance productivity, Enzi Njema will employ the use of an elaborate network system of qualified persons and business people.
• The 2Enzi Njema Rescue program": There are many stigmatized young women in the region who requires a complete change of environment so as to provide a new era and start. Enzi Njema plans to develop a rescue centre in the future. Currently, Enzi Njema will network with its partners to provide viable solutions for cases within its mandate.
• The "Enzi Njema Empowering network program": Enzi njema will seek to enhance the creation of opportunities for training, jobs, voluntary work and other avenues that empower young women.

Prisca Wambui Mwangi is the Managing Director at Enzi Njema Organization.
