One idea stood at the beginning of our association's foundation: We would bring together partnership groups in Germany with partner projects in the countries of the south. Development work and commitment should become alive and tangible - for all those involved. Working towards development is fun, and it can make a key contribution to a fairer world.
Almond Twig Project Support therefore, through the help of partnership groups and donors, is committed to different population groups living together on an equal footing.
Supporting Aid Projects Abroad - That's the goal of Almond Twig Project Support The focus of our work is currently in India, more specifically in the state of Assam. We work together with local partners to support various aid projects. They offer support the local population - urgently needed, because the workers on the local tea plantations often work in slave-like conditions, and many children lack the necessary conditions for a successful school attendance.
Projects:
We focus primarily on two essential areas: education and agriculture.
The construction of classrooms and sanitary facilities will enable the children of the region to have a better day at school. As part of the coaching programs, tutors accompany the children and young people on their educational path and help them to graduate from school.
The agricultural programs, in turn, are aimed at entire village communities. Through the expansion of agricultural land and the provision of the right know-how, both sources of food and income will be created here.

• Classroom construction at the Holy Rosary School in Purul, Manipur
• Ecological school gardens at nine village schools in the Puri district

• Agricultural training: fish pond in N.C. Lamabari
• Fair tea plantation Uttar Nowgaon (Assam, India)
