Im Namen der Kinder wünscht GiKaD Euch und Eurer Familie ein gesegnetes Fest und ein glückliches Neues Jahr.
Our association Give Kids a Dream e.V. (GiKaD) supports needy people, especially children, to be able to go to school, so that they do not grow up to be illiterate.
Our goal is to help children and young adults to find a way out of poverty through education and to develop perspectives in their homeland.
We support elementary school students from Vietnam in the form of the scholarship.
The annual donation allows school enrollment as well as further education. If we succeed to support the children 2-3 years basic education, they would certainly be able to read, write and calculate. The foundation for a better life would have been laid.
• With Greenleaves we raise funds to support motivated children who come from poor backgrounds. The scholarship will cover school fees, books, school supplies, school uniforms and support for food for one school year in return for a commitment upon graduation to sponsor a Greenleaves's student for at least 2 years.
• In Native American cultures, a dreamcatcher is a handmade willow hoop, on which is woven a net or web. The dreamcatcher may also include sacred items such as certain feathers or beads. Traditionally they are often hung over cradles as protection. Based on this mythology we support with the project "Dreamcatcher" children in need, so that they do not end up on the streets. In addition to support for school education, we give them, for example, chickens and feed for a poultry farming. Thus, the families can improve their living conditions and be able to help themselves.
Thi To Hong Bui is the Chairwoman of Give Kids a Dream e. V. (GiKaD).
