About us

The foundation stone of the association was laid on September 5, 2015 when the first refugees arrived at Munich Central Station. Seven volunteers came together soon after, driven by the desire to alleviate the hardship. After the first joint aid transports to the Balkans, German Alliance for Civilian Assistance (GACA) was founded on October 27, 2015. Only a week later did we receive the recognition as a nonprofit association. Providing people with secure jobs, education and health care through the building of RFN villages is our goal. - A life of dignity with a perspective, right where things are happening.

Our vision
Many people live in misery or have to flee for various reasons: War, climate change, famine, ailing economy, torture or genocide. We want to reach out to these people and offer new hope in the form of a village. This village can be in their home country (preventive) or in a recipient nation (curative). The core components of the village should be: Safe accommodation, solid education, a health care center, and decently paid work. The houses are to be self-sufficient, using solar panels and high-performance batteries. The spring water is to be purified with the latest technology and used with due and proper care. Recycling and waste separation should become part of the residents' lives. On the basis of the permaculture principle, natural agriculture is to be practiced, which enables people to live on a healthy diet and which cares for and protects the natural environment. Thousands of RFN villages are to be created worldwide to create a just and fair flourishing world community without any exploitation.

Our mission
To build one Rebuild The Future Now! - RFN village as a PILOT PROJECT for up to 3,000 refugees to make the world community aware of our double-purpose experiential solution of flight causes and sustainability. For the realization of our mission we have chosen Turkey. As one of the few foreign NGOs, we have already received a confirmation from the Turkish authorities for our projects.
