About us

"wirundjetzt" was founded in the winter of 2010 and has been registered since October 2011. Now, "wirundjetzt" is a registered, non-profit association. We are a young, regional sustainability initiative. We want to inspire people to shape their future positively and actively and to take responsibility. At the present time of change and upheavals in society, economy, environment and politics, we want to point out alternatives and thus encourage people to become active together.

Our vision: The world needs change!

We are involved in three areas:
• Practical actions: permaculture, community gardens, beekeeping, planting trees, organizing events on various topics.
• New structures: We want to come up with new structures, try them out and point out alternatives. New economies, regional currencies, living together with other species, communicating with other species.
• Change of consciousness: We see ourselves as part of the earth and feel that we are connected with each other and with the earth. Without this insight, we find it difficult to work in the other two areas. We would like to appreciate a change of consciousness as well as practical actions and to organize seminars on the topic of connection with nature, community building and the development of regenerative cultures.

We network, inform, inspire and initiate practical projects.
And so we try to connect ecological, economic and social issues and to win people's hearts and minds.

Activities:
• Launch and organization of the local transition initiative Wilhelmsdorf (open events, film evenings, networking of interested parties, coordination of the various working groups)
• Information for and networking of large and small companies on the subject of the economy for the common good (coordination of energy fields in the Lake Constance region)
• Work on a regional currency for the Wilhelmsdorf / Ravensburg region
• Organizing a big agricultural day in autumn for farmers and associations
• Three cultural events / concerts in autumn, during which we want to combine celebrations with sustainability topics
• Collaboration with schools, project days and project lessons
• Cooperation with the city of Ravensburg on Fair Trade, globalization-critical city tour "world-conscious"
• Organization of seminars and meetings on community education, communication, nature connection, permaculture and project management
• Wilderness Educational Days: Natural connection with horses for children, adolescents, adults and families.
• Supervision of information stands at trade fairs and at external events
