About us

TiMMi ToHelp e.V. is an association for integrative project work and acute help for the homeless, which supports homeless people with various services. Our association, founded in 2016, deals with various issues and problems of society, such as poverty, homelessness, migration and reintegration into society. We want to raise awareness of these issues and encourage people to act. We create opportunities for people with different social backgrounds to meet and get to know each other. This is a good way to promote social cohesion and respect.

Our work is aimed at socially disadvantaged people in Leipzig (the homeless, benefit recipients, migrants, refugees, welfare recipients, etc.). We try to support these people through various projects, to stand by their side, to empower them and to eradicate prejudices.

We currently offer:
• Active volunteer project work
• Reintegration: Our project is to help people and to provide follow-up, and for them to practice self-help. This creates a "snowball effect of support". Those in need of help are motivated to get involved themselves and they not only tackle their own problems (such as lack of drive or unemployment) but they also automatically help others.
• Homeless Help Leipzig (Care Bags): Care Bags are backpacks or bags that store useful utensils for homeless people. That was originally the basic idea behind it. Meanwhile, we distribute packs fully customized to individual needs.
• Supporters of the project Suspended Coffee Germany: With our project "Spendiert" we want to give these people (the homeless, benefit recipients, welfare recipients, refugees, low-income people, people living in poverty, etc.), small, everyday moments of joy. You can donate a product or service for another person throughout Germany in our participating stores.
• (In planning) Care Bus: The Care Bus project aims to provide emergency assistance. In the cold months, the bus is to distribute hot drinks (coffee, tea) and food (tureen or pre-cooked food)daily at various points, and possibly on demand, . In addition, a quota of jackets and blankets (including emergency blankets) will be available on the bus. Thus we will use the bus not only for a supply of drinks and food, but pursue a more holistic approach, where we can determine the needs of people through discussion and contacts and to be able to provide adequate help.

On request we can offer other net participants advice, give a presentation, and provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work.

TiMMi ToHelp e.
