Sobre nosotros

Flamingo is an association of women working in various areas of support work for female refugees.
In the summer of 2015 we founded our non-profit association in order to be able to work in a more organized and effective manner.

We currently offer refugee women weekly advice on asylum and residence law, in cooperation with the Refugee Law Clinic.

Since autumn 2019, our focus has been on our medicinal herb garden project "Hevrin Khalaf" in Neukölln. It is a partner project with the women's village of Jinwar in northern Syria (Rojava). There we set up the "Sîfa Jin" project, which aims to set up a health centre for refugee women and children. There are weekly meetings in the garden in Neukölln, Germany, workshops and other events also take place. The latest news can always be found on our website.
This has resulted in our social entrepreneurship project Band of Sisters
More information at: www.band-of-sisters.com
