About us

All Wildlife Rescue and Education, Inc. (AWRE) is a non-profit organization devoted to accomplishing two objectives:
• Rescuing, retrieving, medically evaluating and treating, rehabilitating and releasing the animals back into their natural habitat (when safe for the animal).
• Educating the community, particularly elementary and secondary students, to respect and be aware of the wildlife and their environment. AWRE presents an interactive presentation to children, that involves live animals that are currently under the care of AWRE and a discussion of the habitat and habits of the particular animal.

AWRE`s mission is now three-fold:
• To rescue and rehabilitate all species of injured wildlife.
• To provide education to the public about people/wildlife interaction.
• To provide all services per gratis, free of any and all charges.

Through AWRE`s Service to the community and environment, we will be able to have a direct impact on individual attitudes toward local conservation and the preservation of wildlife

David Thraen is the Executive Director of AWRE.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
