Sobre nosotros

LOGO e.V. is a non-profit association based in North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1995, the association has 220 members, among whom organic farmers and alumni of its own internship programmes are particularly numerous. LOGO's members are committed to organic farming and renewable energies.

LOGO focuses on internships for agricultural students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Every year, about 100 agricultural students and young agricultural specialists come to Germany. During the six- to twelve-month internships, most of which take place on family farms, they take part in seminars on organic farming and vocational training. Today still exist many contacts with many former interns.

It is a success when alumni apply the knowledge they gained in the internships professionally in their home countries. Some alumni are studying in Germany. Other alumni have become self-employed and work, for example, as organic farmers in Germany. Many are employees in international enterprises of the agricultural sector.

LOGO also supports internships for young people from Germany in organic agriculture in the partner countries. In 2021, two young women completed internships in the Kaluga region (Russia). In 2022 and 2023, the association is supervising volunteers on projects in Kazakhstan through the BMZ-funded ASA programme.

LOGO members can offer other net participants presentations on ecological land cultivation, on renewable energy and resources. Due to its decades of experience, the organisation has built up background knowledge of Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus and is willing to participate in further networking.
