Society for Community Organization and Rural Education (SCORE) is a voluntary social service organization with nonprofit motive. Our organization has been duly registered in 1995 and it has been functioning since 1995, by a group of social minded and dedicated persons hailing from the bottom strata of the rural society, having clear insight into the problems faced by socially and economically downtrodden and underprivileged segments of the rural communities.
SCORE is committed to the welfare and socio-economic upliftment of the target communities in the adopted villages.
Its overall objective is to organize, educate, conscientize and develop the oppressed and depressed and downtrodden segments of rural community towards cultural upheavals and socio-economic changes.

The vision of SCORE is to be a people centered grassroot level developmental organization effectively addressing the developmental issues of the rural and tribal poor and socially underprivileged people at micro and macro levels coordination with likeminded NGOs and people’s organizations.

The mission of SCORE is to promote community based sustainable development effectively through its community based groups in collaboration with government and likeminded local and international NGOs.
SCORE is basically an education and development promoting organization. It inspires, promotes, facilitates and co-ordinates the efforts of the people and groups towards achieving the common goal.

SCORE aims to promote physical, social, mental and spiritual well- being of the individual and the community based on values of justice, love, equality and peace. SCORE hopes that this will lead to the establishment of a just social order.

Our objectives:
• To empower women, farmers, dalit and tribal through awareness programmes.
• To enable the oppressed to get organized into people’s organization.
• To facilitate them to emerge as people’s movement.
• To provide skills for rural and tribal women on income earnings.
• To educate target people through formal and non-formal education methods.
• To provide them skills and platform for sharing, linkages and address their problems and issues.
• To undertake development and welfare programmes.
• To implement education, health, HIV/AIDS, environment and economic programmes for women, children, dalits and tribal people.
• To focus on special attention for the rights, development and welfare on third gender.
• To implement micro credit programmes for poor women, dalits and tribal

Our activities:
• Skill Training - Tailoring, Embroidering and Modern Dress Making, Vermin Compost Making, Mushroom Cultivation and Marketing.
• Income Generation - Cow and Goat Rearing, Country chicken rearing. Promotion of women entrepreneurship through micro enterprises
• Health Development – Reproductive Child Health, HIV//AIDS, Intervention of Disability,
• Education - Intensive Coaching classes
