Sobre nosotros

Holy Land Trust (HLT) is a not-for-profit organization established in Bethlehem in 1998.

Through a commitment to the principles of non-violence, Holy Land Trust seeks to strengthen and empower the Palestinian community in developing spiritual, pragmatic and strategic approaches that will allow it to resist all forms of oppression and build a future that makes the Holy Land a global model and pillar of understanding, respect, justice, equality and peaceful coexistence.

Holy Land Trust has developed five programs that form the core of our mission to empower the Palestinian community:
• Non-violence Programs: HLT’s Non-violence Programs support the Palestinian people as they confront political, social, and economic hardship using non violent strategies.
• Community Outreach: The Bethlehem District contains twenty-three separate cities, villages and refugee camps, composed of a variety of cultural and religious groups that make up the Palestinian people. HLT is seeking to engage in long-term, sustainable relationships to provide these communities with possibilities in the face of adversity.
• Leadership Programs: Holy Land Trust’s leadership division, “Making the Impossible Possible” Campaign, is facilitating the emergence of a community of leaders committed to bringing about a non-violent, transformative, and lasting change within both Palestinian and Israeli communities.
• Travel and Encounter: Holy Land Trust’s Travel and Encounter programs aim to raise international awareness of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict by providing cross cultural and experiential learning opportunities in both Palestine and Israel.
• Independent Media: Holy Land Trust has developed two media projects. The Palestine News Network (PNN) is an independent news agency bringing accurate and reliable news about the region to local and international communities. Al-Kul TV is a community-focused television station by and for the people of Bethlehem.

As part of our mission statement of "strengthening communities for the future," Holy Land Trust is proud to have a longstanding record of working with volunteers from the world over
