Rehabilitation International Ghana is a non-governmental organization charged with the alleviation of poverty and health hazards in the Ghanaian society. The organization head quarter is based in Accra Ghana and operates in Wassa Amenfi East District. We are a NGO working to reduce and eliminate the worst forms of child labour in the production of Cocoa, Fishing, Mining and related activities.

Our mission
To bring together a critical number of individual, Government, policy and decision makers who share and have common interest concerns ideas to invest constructively towards the restoration of hope and confidence in the lives of our people.

Our vision
Provide qualitative sustainable education initiative towards enchanging the dignity and pride of humanity, disease and minimize global conflicts through unearthing of inherent potent in the individual.

Aims and Objective.
• To embark on development projects on health and education. Rehabilitation, equalization of opportunities resettlement of the person with Disabilities (PWD), their families and the aged.
• To fight for total elimination of child labour
• Empowerment of the youth and women.
• Micro-Finance
• Humanitarian assistance for sustainable development in education, agriculture social and income generating project to create job opportunities to eliminate poverty in society.
• Deepening public awareness of the need to preserve and enhance environmental improvement issues.
• Health: to assist in fight against malaria, TB/HIV, reproductive etc.
• To promote volunteerism.
• To organize exchange programmes with international bodies in areas of tourism, trade, industrialization, health, education, agriculture and environmental in pollution among nation
• Collabration with Government, NGOs, United Nations agencies, international organization to foster unity and co-operation among nations
• Improve the living condition of people in deprived communities

What we do:
• Education: To create awareness of the important in the modern society of Information Communication Technology (ICT), the organization in collaboration with international NGOs, organization etc., invited international volunteers for establishment of computer laboratories, and also strengthen computer education in many institution across the country. International volunteers were provided to teach subject in French, Science, Maths, English etc. provision of volunteers for orphanage care services in Kidders orphanage home
• Health: Outreach programmes in disease control in malaria tuberculosis T/B HIV has been implemented. The organization carried out national proposal report for the removal mentally handicapped person roaming the street in the country without access to healthcare , food , shelter, etc for rehabilitation .
• Child Labour: The organization has been engaged in many intervention advocacy in educating children, parent, stakeholders on elimination of child labour among society in various communities.
• Micro.Finance: The organization has organized membership drive in WAED and in collaboration of opportunities International a loan and save organization.
• Humanitarian Assistance: The organization provided effective support service for influx for refugees from Ivory Coast during their civil war in the country. The organization was also invited with others by the government to the castle- Osu- Accra to find solution to the recent flood victim in the three Northern and Western Regions. The NGO is a member of the disaster preventive management consortium to handle natural and man made disaster in the country.

Grant Anim is the President of Rehabilitation International Ghana.
