Qui sommes-nous

Dein Ball für Namibia e.V. (DBFN) was founded in 2019 to promote youth soccer in Namibia in a sustainable manner. Since then, the association has supported over 90 soccer clubs throughout the country with training materials and is also committed to providing educational opportunities, healthy nutrition, and medical care.
Dein Ball für Namibia e.V. gives children and young people in Namibia the chance for a better future through soccer. We promote sport, offer support in education and nutrition, and create safe accommodation.

Our philosophy:
DBFN believes that every young person has the right to develop their talents and lead a healthy, fulfilling life. By combining sport, education, and social responsibility, DBFN creates a supportive community in which children are empowered and motivated to take control of their own future.

Our mission:
DBFN works according to five central pillars:
1. Sports: Children and young people are given access to regular soccer training to develop their skills. Clubs are supported nationwide. DBFN enables children from disadvantaged townships in particular to access sports, education, and social activities.
2. Education: The focus is on the personal development of the children – DBFN supports them through mentoring, schooling, and life skills. (Private school, tutoring, etc.)
3. Nutrition: Various nutrition programs are offered for the children of the SFC Swakopmund Academy. Monday through Friday.
4. Health: Medical care and health services for the children.
5. Accommodation: The Blue Heaven dormitory provides a safe place to live, learn, and grow for currently 13 children.

Projects & Highlights:
• Blue Heaven: A dormitory and meeting place for children that offers athletic, academic, and social support.
• SFC Academy Cooperation: DBFN works closely with the local soccer academy to provide talented children with opportunities to participate in club sports.
• Sponsorship Initiatives: Sponsorships for children that cover training fees, equipment, and memberships to ensure continued participation. Exchange programs for our young soccer players to travel to Germany, Switzerland, or South Africa to broaden their horizons and gain experience.
