Sobre nosotros
The colorido e.V. association was founded in Plauen in 2017.
Our aim is to establish and support civil society structures that overcome barriers based on cultural, religious, or national differences. We promote cosmopolitan and open-minded thinking, tolerance in all areas of culture, and international understanding.
We achieve this through project work, lectures, exhibitions, political education in schools, and public relations measures to communicate humanistic and democratic values.
Our motto: All different, all equal
What we do
• With colorido e.V. in Plauen and the Vogtland district, we oppose all forms of discrimination and hatred and take responsibility for a diverse, strong, and vibrant democracy.
• We want to be an inspiring example of joint democratic action. We have a large regional and supraregional network for tolerance, diversity, and civic participation.
• With our commitment to intercultural dialogue and remembrance culture, we strive to support and strengthen democratic civil society in Plauen and the Vogtland district.
• Our political education and awareness projects aim to encourage people to oppose right-wing extremism, intolerance, racism, and anti-Semitism in an intelligent and creative way and to draw attention to injustices.
Projects:
• Political education; remembrance work; getting involved; international weeks against racism; festivals; neighborhood festivals; Jewish culture days; and more
• Social space: meeting place café; BRING-und-NIMM store BruNI;
