Initiative Africaine Pour la Paix et le Développement (INAPAD-Asbl) was created at 04. May 2018 as a non-profit Organization. INAPAD-Asbl is an apolitical, non-governmental, non-denominational organization without tribal, gender or racist discrimination.

Mission:
INAPAD's mission is to sensitize, train, mobilize and support the population through grassroots structures to promote peace, sustainable development and the rational management of natural resources.

Vision:
INAPAD would like to see itself as a stable organization capable of promoting peace and development in Eastern DR Congo with human dignity and in a healthy environment for the well-being of all.

INAPAD Objectives:
Global objective:
• INAPAD's global objective is to contribute to socio-economic stability through the promotion of inter-human relations for harmonious development in an environment where peace and human dignity are respected.
Specific objectives:
• Promote peace, protect and defend human rights,
• Promote formal and informal education, with particular emphasis on girls and girl-mothers in difficult situations,
• Contribute to environmental sanitation, protection and management,
• Contribute to access to and promotion of health in rural areas,

Priority actions to be carried out in the short and medium term:
• Identification and orientation of priority needs according to the vulnerability of each area of intervention
• Urgent assistance to victims in living and non-living situations
• Raising awareness of peace and living together through concrete actions,
• Rehabilitation and/or construction of basic infrastructure in targeted rural areas,
• Support for abandoned children and orphans in identified schools,
• Medical, legal and judicial assistance for women/girls who have been victims of rape and sexual violence.
• Socio-economic reintegration and empowerment of women and girls whose rights have been violated.
• Community support in environmental management and protection.
